Kris Laukens is a professor in bioinformatics and biodata mining at the ADReM data lab in the Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on life science applications of data mining, bioanalytical, biomedical pattern discovery, artificial intelligence and data-driven decision support technologies for precision medicine and digital health. He also teaches several courses on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics and is the founder of the BIOMINA core facility.
