Ion chromatography

Metrohm 883 Basic IC plus can seperate ions in a liquid mixture, e.g. ground/waste water. A liquid sample is injected into a mobile aqueous stream (mobile phase) flowing through an ion exchanger (stationary phase). By using different ion exchangers, anions or cations can be separated and analyzed.

• Anion quantification: acetate, formate, fluoride, chloride, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, sulfate
• Cation quantification: Lithium, Sodium, Ammonium, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium
