ACED DATA MANAGEMENT POLICY
To ensure transparency and reproducibility of their research, ACED members are required to follow good scientific data management practice. When an empirical project is considered to be finished by its authors (e.g., an article is submitted to a journal or a PhD chapter is finished), data and a codified process that describes how results were obtained are stored in the ACED data repository.
The ACED data repository consists of a dual storage – a physical drive and an online drive. All documents and data are securely encrypted. The encryption keys are held by the acting person in charge – Nele Gernaey, and ACED’s senior researchers (Christophe Boone, Victor Gilsing). The stored data can be accessed by non-owners only after a consultation and approval by the owners. To deposit your project, please contact Nele Gernaey.
