Research Funding
Four-year doctoral grants for artistic research (half time), as well as one ad two-year projects in artistic research (half time) are funded from 'additional research resources' (the former 'academization resources') on behalf of the schools of arts: Sint Lucas Antwerp (Karel de Grote Hogeschool), Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Royal Conservatoire Antwerp (AP Hogeschool).
Other ARIA research is funded from multiple sources. ARIA researchers have been supported by ERC, FWO, Creative Europe, the Rights, Equality and Citizenship and the Erasmus+ programmes of the EU.
