Who are we?
The Centre for Ethics is part of the philosophy department at the University of Antwerp. The research of the centre's members is situated in moral psychology, meta-ethics, the history of moral philosophy, applied ethics, and political philosophy.
Starting from their research and their coursework on the ethical dimensions of current social challenges, the members participate in the public debate and join international networks in the field of political philosophy, media ethics, bio ethics, business ethics, religion, economy, feminism, and moral psychology.
The members of the centre are also responsible for providing courses in ethics en political philosophy at the department of philosophy, and other departments at the University of Antwerp.
Our team members are interested in (interdisciplinary) collaborations, so please reach out to us if you have an idea to pitch.
