Postgraduate

In the postgraduate curriculum our network of GP trainers is available for further vocational training which start during master 4. After successful termination of this basic curriculum, access to two further years of postgraduate education is permitted. More emphasis now is on clinical diagnostic reasoning, medical prescriptions, advanced skills, small group seminars , portfolio, etc.

The CHA trains students in general practice/family medicine, and focuses on the delivery of physicians able to function efficiently as general practitioners. We offer them a broad theoretical basis, combined with ample training opportunities in practice, to achieve a profound integration. We stimulate our students problem solving capacity, and prepare them for their work as physician in a tilting multi-cultural society , with new priorities resulting from future health needs and challenges in our society. We pay considerable attention to the personal development of each student in general practice/family medicine, while all individual educators in their own ways try to be role models.
