Roundtable Discussion hosted by Liliane Hodieb, guest speaker Kathleen Gyssels

This online conference will focus is on the coloniality of knowledge, qualifying thoughts produced in the colonies or more generally by subalterns as invalid. How does this double subalternity manifest throughout history, texts, discourses, and in the transmission of knowledge? What identity issues do they face in such a position? What mediations are possible towards a "feminine decoloniality" – not necessarily feminist? To debate these questions, a transareal perspective is necessary.
