Enviromics consolidates unique knowhow on nature-based challenges with unique expertise in biotechnology,  biomaterials, sensing applications and multidisciplinary solutions to environmental challenges. Ten teams collaborate across five departments of the University of Antwerp. All teams are active in research with economic and/or societal endpoints and cover knowhow and technologies that are perfectly complementary to each other. The Enviromics teams have access to a large network of environmental researchers and industries across Europe and beyond. All teams are involved in both national and international projects launched by industry, academia and governments (e.g. European Framework Program).
