Adeodata Kanyamihanda completed her master's degree at the University of Antwerp, specialising in Belgian public law and EU migration law. She also participated in exchange programmes at Université de Louvain-la-Neuve and Université de Montréal. Starting in September 2024, she will begin her PhD research and serve as a teaching assistant under the guidance of Prof. Johan Meeusen. Her research will focus on climate refugee protection in the European Union, approached through comparative legal perspectives. Beyond her academic work, she is passionate about helping others, which makes her a natural team player. She recently founded the "Diversity for Law Students" project, an initiative that earned her the Queen Mathilde Prize. She is deeply committed to supporting students and making a positive impact on society.
