
Rana Touseef Sami commenced his position as a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Law, University of Antwerp, in March 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), distinguished with a gold medal for outstanding academic performance, earned from the University of Management and Technology (Pakistan, 2018) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Antwerp (Belgium, 2022), where he was awarded the prestigious Mastermind Scholarship. Additionally, he is a member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association in Pakistan.
Before embarking on his doctoral journey at the University of Antwerp, Rana served as an in-house lawyer for one of Pakistan’s largest public companies and gained valuable experience as an associate at a prominent Pakistani corporate and commercial law firm. Furthermore, he contributed as a part-time academic assistant at the Faculty of Law, University of Antwerp, demonstrating his commitment to both legal practice and academia. His research interests encompass a diverse range of fields, including EU law, administrative law, tourism law, multilevel institutional dynamics, and sustainability.
