Dirk Vanheule is a full professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Antwerp and a member of the research group Government and Law. He is also chairperson of the Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS) at the University of Antwerp. From 2012 to 2018, Dirk served as Dean of the Faculty of Law. He is also a member of the Ghent Bar, having appeared before the European Court of Human Rights, Constitutional Court, and the Supreme Administrative Court of Belgium.
