Workshop "Junior ans Senior Research"

In this workshop, we explore recent research topics being investigated by the Henry van de Velde research group, as well as through international collaborations. Renowned scholars from around the world are invited to join us for discussions and debates with our researchers.

The workshop included a short introduction by Amit Srivastava, Director for the Centre of Asian and Middle Eastern Architecture at the University of Adelaide, Australia, and visiting fellow at FOW, University of Antwerp. 

The following researchers presented their research:

  • Ilke Kerkhofs, PhD candidate at FOW UA, presented her project “Living quality & affordable housing”.
  • Mari Moura, Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow, presented her project “Women Building Brasil”.
  • Alex Auris presented his project on “A Queer Architecture Practice.”
