Bio

Aishuak Kerimzhanova obtained her Master of Science from the Technical University of Munich with a degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Energy-Efficient and Sustainable Planning and Design, Computational Engineering, and Real Estate Development. Additionally, she holds a Double Degree in Construction and Industrial Engineering from universities in Saint Petersburg, Russia and Lappeenranta, Finland.Aishuak is a Doctoral Candidate in the QuiVal Doctoral Network. Her research explores the role of distributed ledger technologies, such as blockchain, in enhancing transparency and accountability within the real estate sector.  Furthermore, the project examines how these technologies influence the supply and demand for housing solutions through cryptographically secured transactions

Favourite (interior) architecture project

Löyly is a gem of Helsinki’s waterfront, embodying two big Finnish passions: sauna and timber architecture. Designed by Avanto Architects, the project uses natural materials, making it the first FSC-certified building in Finland, proving the responsible forest management.
