Hélène is Assistant Professor of Heritage and Museum Studies at the University of Antwerp. With a background in Archaeology, she has also worked in the museum sector. Her research focuses on the formation of collections and how decision-making processes shape future collections. Currently, she’s engaged in projects exploring the impact of participatory practices in defining the heritage value of challenging and toxic heritage.
