Maarten H.D. Larmuseau is an assistant professor in Human Genetic Genealogy at the Faculty of Medicine, KU Leuven, and a guest professor in Genetic Heritage affiliated with the Heritage Sciences program at UAntwerpen. His research focuses on the role of biological kinship in past and present human populations. He is particularly interested in how scientific research on genetic ancestry can be enriched through collaboration with heritage professionals and citizen scientists.
