The NANOcenter invites partners from both industry and academia to join the efforts in performing cross-cutting multidisciplinary research in the field of advanced materials science and nanotechnology applications.
Due to versatility of the characterization and modeling methods used within the NANOcenter consortium, a very broad range of potential applications is envisaged:
- Nanoparticles, nanotubes, core-shell structures
- Two-dimensional crystals like graphene, silicene, BN, MoS2
- Battery materials
- Thin films, heterostructures and interfaces
- Ceramics, semiconductors, metals and alloys
- Zeolites, catalytic materials
- Photovoltaics, transparent conducting oxides
- Composites
- Polymers, biomaterials
