Training for legal professionals: the well-being of children in international child abduction proceedings
The University of Antwerp together with the University of Genoa, University of Ghent, Missing Children Europe, Child Focus, Centrum IKO and MIKK has launched a research study with the enhancement of the well-being of children in international child abductions as main goal – VOICE. This project is co-financed by the European Commission.
On 6 December (10 a.m. - 17 p.m.) and 7 December (9 a.m.– 13 p.m.) 2018, the VOICE team will organise a training based on the preliminary findings of the research. The training is open to 20 legal professionals (judges, lawyers, mediators, central authorities, etc.).
The aim of the training is to share insights on the well-being of children in international child abduction proceedings and to discuss what can be done by legal professionals to enhance this well-being.
Please register before 30 November 2018. The capacity of this training is limited to 20 participants on a first come, first served bases. The participation fee is €25.
