FORMAL PRESENTATIONS AND ROUNDTABLE AT PIONNIERS DU CHANGEMENT ASSOCIATION (PCDC)

The session at the Pionniers du changement association (PCDC) began with an introduction to the association's core vision and a review of its past and current projects, setting the stage for an academically enriching dialogue. The formal presentations included Ghita El Berrad from PCDC-Oujda, who explained the hurdles migrants face in accessing education services in Oujda

A representative from the Office for Vocational Training and Work Promotion (OFPTT) discussed barriers to educational and employment opportunities for migrants in Morocco. The talks also highlighted the association's engagement with migrants' access to education in Oujda. The session concluded informally, allowing attendees, including migrants of different nationalities, to network and continue discussions initiated by the formal presentations. This session also facilitated further practical discussions on the integration process with members of the local association. An additional session conducted by the Association Pionniers du Changement on September 14th provided a platform for asking more questions, where students had the chance to compare migration systems, laws, and integration initiatives in Belgium and Morocco

HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM PRESENTATION AND FACILITY VISIT AT THE MOROCCAN FAMILY PLANNING ASSOCIATION (AMPF)

The Association Marocaine de Planification Familiale (AMPF) is a national organization with offices throughout Morocco, focusing on promoting sexual and reproductive health rights and ensuring access to quality health services, especially for vulnerable populations. A special emphasis is placed on refugees, with projects designed to provide them with specialized health services. In an informative session, Prof. Abdellatif Maamri, the president of the Oujda branch of AMPF, explained the organization's role in aiding refugees and migrants and its research on reproductive health in Morocco. Following the discussion, students toured the AMPF facilities, gaining firsthand insight into the association's operations and the services offered at their health centre.

FORMAL PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS AT THE ASSOCIATION FOR COOPERATION, DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURE (ACODEC) 

ACODEC (Association de cooperation pour le développement et la culture) is a local Moroccan organisation established in 1999, that promotes community and human development through cultural events, literacy programs, and training workshops in the voluntary sector. The organisation also advocates for human rights and fosters a culture of non-violence, citizenship, and democratic engagement. During a session dedicated to outlining ACODEC's mission, program managers and members provided a retrospective of the organisation's objectives and projects linked to migration in Oujda. Central to the discussions were the specific challenges surrounding job access for refugees, particularly unaccompanied minors, and their integration into schools. This was followed by an interactive question-and-answer exchange.

INFORMATIVE SESSION WITH EUROPEAN COMMITTEE FOR TRAINING AND AGRICULTURE (CEFA) AND MAROC SOLIDARITÉ 2 (MS2) 

The European Committee for Training and Agriculture (CEFA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization engaged in international cooperation and solidarity, with activities centered on sustainable rural development, energy, environmental protection, and water conservation. Additionally, it conducts training in health, education, and social activities. The original program was adjusted following an earthquake on September 9, 2023, but an alternative arrangement was made, allowing students to participate in a workshop designed for refugees, focusing on vocational training. An MS2/CEFA member led an informative session on programs provided by L'Entraide Nationale and other organizations. Moroccan students with experience in vocational training also offered their perspectives, thus enhancing the information provided to everyone involved.
