In 2023, a fourth spin-off company of our research group PLASMANT was founded: Atomic16 (website under construction), with Annemie Bogaerts as co-founder, shareholder and member of the Board of Directors. The aim of this company is to scale up our plasma technology for converting elemental sulphur to SO2 and SO3 and services related to converting elemental sulphur to SO2 and SO3 by means of high-flow low-current arc plasma reactors.
