During this workshop-type lunch seminar, Associated Professor Manu Karuka (Barnard College) will discuss ongoing research in gender, decolonial, post-colonial, and critical race studies.

Later that day, Manu Karuka will give a public lecture on the interrelated concepts of imperialism, ecology, self-determination, and democracy, entitled ‘The Jungle and the Garden’ (City Campus, R007).
