Our versatility in non-destructive imaging technologies (X-ray imaging, Terahertz imaging, Hyperspectral imaging, and Thermography) enables us to address a broad range of inspection challenges.
We aim to bring value to companies and organisations seeking solutions to enhance their operations and decision-making processes by engaging in new collaborative R&D projects. We are open to various collaboration models:
- Bi-/multilateral projects directly funded by a company or institute
- Bi-/multilateral projects partly funded by a company or institute and partly by a funding agency
- Multi-partner projects funded by national and international agencies
- Joint PhD or European Industrial Doctorates
Collaborations can be co-funded through the regional innovation agency (VLAIO), KMO-portefeuille and imec ICON funding.
For multi-party, multi-disciplinary innovations, we can also introduce you to European innovation programs, co-funded by the European Commission (HORIZON EUROPE).
"The success of orthosis therapy is highly dependent on the 3D design of the orthosis. This design, in turn, is highly dependent on the shape of the body part that this orthosis supports. Imec-Visionlab of Q-INSPEX has successfully supported us by creating mathematical models of the hand and forearm. This allows us to provide more qualitative and transparent brace therapy to our patients via 3D printed hand orthoses. - Vigo"
