The Toxicological Centre has two LC-QqQ systems:
- An Agilent 1200 liquid chromatography system with binary pump coupled to an Agilent 6410 Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer
- An Agilent 1290 Infinity liquid chromatography system with binary pump coupled to an Agilent 6460 Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer
- An Agilent 1290 Infinity II liquid chromatography system with a High Speed binary pump coupled to an Agilent 6495 Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer
The multiple reaction monitoring applied in the QqQ Mass Spectrometers provides high selectivity and specificity. Moreover, QqQ Mass Spectrometers have a high linear range. This makes it an ideal instrument for quantitative analyses.
The LC-QqQ is used throughout all research themes of the Toxicological Centre.
