Amber Peeters obtained a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications in 2020. She currently is a PhD student at the department of communication sciences. Amber’s PhD focuses on the portrayal of meat, men and masculinities on social media and whether the decision to (not) eat meat shapes interpersonal interactions of men. She also investigates how meat, men and masculinities intersect on the individual, interpersonal and cultural levels. Amber is a member of the MIOS research group and the FOOMS team.
