About Els Tanghe

Els Tanghe is principal tutor at the Antwerp School of Education. As a teacher trainer, she teaches general didactics, teaching methodology health sciences, and school, policy & society, where her background in education is of great benefit. At the In-service Teacher Training Centre, Els was a part-time staff member from 2020 to 2024, has been a lecturer there since 2020 and chair of the health sciences working group since 2023-2024. She holds a PhD on the effectiveness of professional development programs for school leaders and is, among other things, involved in research on (early career) teachers and school leaders.
