Fien De Meyer is a PhD Researcher at the Law Faculty exploring international and national legal regulations of abortion beyond 12 weeks pregnancy. She studied at the University of Ghent, where she obtained a Master in Law and a Master in Conflict and Development with great distinction. In addition to her devotion to reproductive rights, her broader research interests lie in the area of human rights, gender, conflict studies and bioethics.
