About Isabeau Kokken

Isabeau Kokken obtained her master’s degree in chemistry in 2021 at the University of Antwerp. After graduating, she started working at Colas Belgium, where she was responsible for the quality control of produced asphalt. In 2024, she began her PhD research at the Department of Construction Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ing. Wim Van den Bergh. Her project focuses on a multi-scale investigation of the long-term performance of recycled polymer-modified asphalt to enhance sustainability in the industry.
