Katrien De Troeyer is a doctoral student within the Social Epidemiology and Health Policy research group. Katrien first worked for several years as a general practitioner and then worked as a researcher at the Academic Center for General Practice (KULeuven), Centre for Environment and Health (KULeuven) and the Belgian Cancer Registry. Her doctoral project focuses mainly on the effect of climate change (ambient temperature, green space and air pollution) on respiratory and allergic health. She also coordinates the fieldwork of the PIPO study.
