Lena Richter works as an MSCA YUFE4Postdoc at the Faculty of Social Sciences, where she is affiliated with the Centre for Research on Environmental and Social Change. As part of the MIGLOBA (Migration and Global Mobility) research network, her project explores nonreligion as a basis for seeking asylum. Lena has a background in anthropology and migration studies. Her regional focus is on the Maghreb, particularly Morocco. Thematically, she engages with issues related to intersectionality, religiosity, and various forms of activism.
