Novel types of cell death during the progression of heart failure.
Abstract
The goal of this study is to describe autophagic cell death during the progression of heart failure. Therefore, we plan the implementation of a chronic mouse model of cardiac pressure overload. To realize these plans, we have trained personnel and side-technology, but need additional micro- surgical technology.Researcher(s)

Analysis of auxotonic concentration and relaxation in isolated cardiac muscle
Abstract
The goal of this study is to describe the properties of auxotonic concentration and relaxation of isolated cardiac muscle segment lengths and to optimize the data analysis system.Researcher(s)

Confluence and polarization of endocard endothelium cells in culture.
Abstract
Hypothesis: the endocard endothelium can function as a electro-chemical barrier. Approach: optimalization of cell cultures of endocard endothelium cells into a confluent monolayer with morphological and functional controle (electrical resistance and ion-transport)Researcher(s)

Decubitus prevention by guarding of critical pressure points on the body.
Abstract
A mat, provided with pressure-sensitive sensors, is laid under the pressure points of the body. A measuring system records the pressure on these points and integrates them over the whole period. if the limit in one of the points is exceeded, this is reported to the nursing staff.Researcher(s)
