international activities
Peter Van Humbeeck took part in a number of international research projects, notably for the Dutch government (2007), the OECD (DSTI, 2003-2005; OECD-Cedefop, 2012) , the European Commission (DG ENV, 1999) and the World Bank (1998). He has published a few papers on the European Network for Better Regulation (ENBR). He was also heavily involved in the two country reviews of Belgium on the subject of better regulation, one by Jacobs&Associates (2004) and one by the OECD (2010). On several occasions, he participated in the OECD-working group on Regulatory Policy and the EU network on environmental economics (ENVECO) and water economics (WATECO). He has been lecturer in an international RIA-training program (Bruges, Jacobs & Associates) and speaker at international conferences.
