Peter Van Humbeeck is member of the board of the Flemish Evaluation Society (Vlaams Evaluatie Platform, president and founding member ), the Flemish Interuniversity Centre for Legislation (Interuniversitair Centrum voor Wetgeving, founding member), the Flemish association for Public Management and Policy (Vlaamse Vereniging voor Bestuur en Beleid) and the Flemish Environmental and Urban Planning Law Association (Vlaamse Vereniging voor Omgevingsrecht, founding member). Previously, he was i.a. member of the board of the Flemish Institute for Society and Technology (IST, a Technology Impact Assessment Organization) a member of the Flemish High Council of Environmental Enforcement (VHRM) and a member of the board of Argus (a foundation of KBC and CERA, two large financial corporations in Belgium). He is a member of the steering group of the Flemish Environmental report (MIRA) and the Flemish Nature Report (NARA) and previously also of the Flemish Policy Research Centre for sustainable development (SDO). He is involved in a number of steering commissions of the Flemish Policy Research Centre for Governmental organization and Decisive Governance (SBOV).
