Expertise

I am a stable isotope biogeochemist by training, pursuing my postdoctoral research investigating the potential of restored tidal marshes and mangroves in sequestering atmospheric CO2. My previous postdoctoral research aimed to understand the nature of carbon and nitrogen cycling in the terrestrial and aquatic systems of the Arctic, Antarctica and the Himalayas. My research interests revolve around constraining the fluxes of different pools of C and N from aquatic and terrestrial systems and studying the governing factors.
