Thomas Demuyser
Thomas obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2016, focusing on neuropharmacology. Afterwards, he specialized in clinical biology, earning Master's degrees in Clinical Biology and Infection Control. His professional career as clinical microbiologist focusses on molecular microbiology and genome sequencing in clinical practice. He worked as a staff member at Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel until 2023 and has been at Universitair Ziekenhuis Antwerpen since 2024. Thomas has joined the LAMB research group at Universiteit Antwerpen in 2024.
