Aortic valve degeneration: cell-biological aspects and clinical results after aortic valve replacement.
Abstract
Denervation of the aortic valve with increasing age has been described . A possible relation with valve degeneration will be investigated. Morbidity and mortality after aortic valve replacement with a bioprosthesis will aslo be investigated. A prospective study for the comparison of two types of bioprothesis will be conducted.Researcher(s)
