How to apply and enrol
in the Master of Science in Business Economics
Check the entry requirements to ensure that you are eligible to start the programme. If you meet the entry requirements, you can proceed with the application:
Bachelor's degree outside Benelux
If you obtained a bachelor's or master's degree from a higher education institution OUTSIDE Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg, you need to submit an online application via Mobility Online, before you can enrol. Pay attention to the deadlines!
Bachelor's degree from Benelux
If you have a bachelor's or master's degree from a higher education institution IN Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg and you are not required to have a visa, you don’t need to proceed via Mobility Online. For the check of your degree(s), you can complete this online form. You can apply until the start of the academic year.

Tuition fee reduction
The standard tuition fee for non-EEA students amounts to 5800 euros (400 euro + 90 euro/credit). The Faculty of Business and Economics grants a limited number of tuition fee reductions to non-EEA students who register for the first time. The reduced fee amounts to 3100 euros (400 euro + 45 euro/credit).
Conditions
To be eligible for a fee reduction the applicant needs to fulfil at least the following criteria:
- You do not yet have a master’s degree;
- You do not have another scholarship to study or live abroad;
- You need financial support to participate to the programme and you can well motivate the application for a fee reduction;
- You have a high standard of academic performance.
Procedure
The Faculty of Business and Economics makes a limited number of tuition fee reductions available to students that are admitted to a master’s programme at the faculty . The faculty awards the reduction in tuition fees to students with a strong academic profile and outstanding study results who can demonstrate a clear need for obtaining financial support. To apply, you have to fill out a form, which will be available between March and June 2025. You will have to add a motivation letter to explain why we should select you for a reduced tuition fee.
Only applicants who are academically admitted, can apply for the tuition fee reduction. Students who need to follow one or more courses from the preparatory programme in combination with their Master's will be automatically granted the reduced tuition fee if they meet the criteria above (they don’t have to complete this form).
Deadline
The application deadline is June 1 (this is also the deadline to send your hard copy documents to the Registrar’s Office). The applicant will be informed of the decision on the tuition fee reduction within 3 weeks after the application deadline. There will be no further communication on the decision.
