Upon arrival, you need to complete important administrative paperwork at both the University and the City Hall. Enrol at the Registrar's Office and apply for a residence permit as soon as possible. 

Attending our Welcome Week for international degree students is a great way to make new friends and gain valuable tips about practical matters like banking, health insurance, accommodation and IT access.  

Once you receive your student card, login and password you can set up your student account and can access a range of services and online applications you'll need during your studies, such as the student portal, SisA and webmail. 

Arrival checklist

  •  Enrol at the university

  •  Use your new login and password to access your email, SisA and the student portal
  •  Open a bank account
  •  Attend the Welcome Week for new international degree students
  •  Organise health insurance
  •  Update your new postal address and phone number in SisA
  •  Hire a bicycle!
