Linh Kha is originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Business Engineering at the University of Antwerp.

What attracted you to the University of Antwerp?

The University of Antwerp is known as one of the highly-ranked institutions for digital business education in Europe. The university's industry-aligned curriculum, extensive research facilities, numerous opportunities, and considerable support for international students were the main reasons that attracted me to it.

What do you think of the programme so far?

I'm really impressed by the Digital Business Engineering programme so far. It has exceeded my expectations in multiple ways. It offers a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills that equip students, including myself, with the necessary abilities to succeed in the digital era. The professors and faculty members are very supportive and experienced, which creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere.

How are the courses going? 

The Master's in Digital Business Engineering provides a variety of courses on novel topics related to digital agility, data science, and information systems. Such an innovative curriculum not only enhances learning but also encourages student engagement. I believe these assets will greatly contribute to my future career.

Although I won't be participating in any international experiences or internships during my studies, I'm still excited about exploring opportunities to gain practical experience and learn about different cultures. 

How is it to be an international student in Antwerp? 

As an international student in Antwerp, I have had a wonderful experience so far. The city's lively community has made it easy for me to adapt and feel comfortable. I've had the pleasure of meeting many friendly and supportive people, which makes me feel very welcome.

I've already learned so much from the cultural differences between Antwerp and Vietnam. With Antwerp being so multicultural, I've been exposed to a wide range of cultures, languages, and traditions from around the world.

Would you recommend other students to join the programme?

Absolutely. I wholeheartedly recommend the Digital Business Engineering programme to other students who are passionate about exploring the intersection of business and technology. It's a great opportunity to acquire technical skills and theoretical knowledge that are highly relevant in today's digital economy.

What are your plans after graduation? 

After graduating, my goal is to pursue a career in data science and information systems. Furthermore, I am considering pursuing higher academic research opportunities to expand my understanding of the digital business domain.
