Activities
for international students
Meeting fellow (international) students and expanding your global network is an essential part of your study experience. To help you fully integrate in your new environment, the university organizes plenty of activities for you to take part in.

Welcome Week and Faculty Day
A week before the academic year begins, the international student office organises a welcome week to help you have a successful start. You’ll receive information on living in Belgium (residence permit, health insurance, ..), studying at our university (facilities, educational system, ...) and connect with students from different faculties.
On the Faculty Day, we welcome you to the Faculty of Business and Economics so you can get to know your fellow classmates and discover the city.
International Student Mixer
We know that living and studying in a whole new country can be daunting. To make sure you can integrate easily and make friends from all over the world, we invite all full-time master's and exchange students to take part in our International Student Mixer. And we do this in true Belgian style: with beers and fries!
Christmas Party
In December, the city of Antwerp hosts a magical Christmas market with lot's of mulled wine, sweets and our famous 'jenever' drinks? A must see, so each year we invite all international degree students to take a trip to the Christmas Market and enjoy a traditional Belgian Christmas dinner together.
Graduation Event
After an academic year of hard work, we celebrate your graduation in style together with your fellow students, your professors and the dean.
