Learning outcomes

1. The Master can recognize environmental issues, from local to global, as anthropogenic problems, critically analyze them in all their aspects and formulate a relevant problem definition.

2. The Master can situate environmental problems in their societal context (social, policy, juridical, economic, technological, international) and interpret them scientifically.

3. The Master is able to autonomously find, disclose and process current information and documentary material on the environmental issue starting from a scientific conceptual framework, theories and research methods.

4. Based on interdisciplinary insights, the Master can develop integrated proposals as a contribution to the solution and prevention of environmental issues and transitions to sustainable development.

5. The Master can actively and flexibly collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting.

6. The Master can report scientifically soundly, critically and effectively to a target group, both orally and in writing.

7. The Master is able to critically analyze policy and management proposals and their implementation, and to make well-founded suggestions for policy development or societal intervention.
