Legal clinic session at Belgian MFA

On 16 June, the last legal clinic session of the Module European Constitutionalism and Fundamental Rights took place in the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the session, students presented the result of their research to Asst. Prof. Catherine Van De Heyning and Veronique Joosten, Human Rights Director at the Ministry. This year’s legal clinic focused on the role of lawyers as human rights defenders and what states could do to ensure better protection of lawyers in this context.
