Micro-credential: Renewable Energy

The micro-credential is part of the Postgraduate Energy & Climate

Learning outcomes

This micro-credential focuses on the following learning outcomes.

1. The participant has gained insights in the different technologies of renewable energy sources.

2. The participant has knowledge about the implementation of renewable energy sources in the grid and the risks associated with it.

Practical information

Lectures will be held in March-April 2026 on Wednesdays from 1.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Campus Middelheim.

Students' presence on campus is mutually beneficial, yet we also recognize the need for flexibility, particularly for those balancing work and study commitments. Therefore, a basic livestream option (audio only, no camera, limited interaction) for remote participation is set up, and, if permitted by the lecturer, recordings of the livestream will also be available.

Evaluation

When attending all lectures (attendance of at least 80% of classes) and successfully passing the multiple choice exam, 6 credits will be awarded.

You will receive an exemption for this course unit if you decide to register for the Postgraduate of Energy & Climate afterwards.
