Gaining knowledge as a student entrepreneur through UAntwerp partners
Locally, UAntwerp is a partner of the ecosystem TAKEOFFANTWERP, an alliance within the Associatie Universiteit & Hogescholen Antwerpen, which aims to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among Antwerp's young people and share knowledge about developing entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurship. Through a network of touchpoints and by means of network events within their own educational institution and across institutions, the local ecosystem also aims to connect students with an entrepreneurial spirit, student-entrepreneurs and expert-entrepreneurs in an accessible way. TAKEOFFANTWERP has an extensive extra-curricular offer of activities, workshops, sessions, etc. both online and physical to bring together student entrepreneurs, allow them to network and, above all, learn a lot.
For students with the status of student-entrepreneur, the UAntwerpen, in cooperation with VOKA Antwerpen-Waasland, provides various customised coaching programmes for budding entrepreneurs. Students with student-entrepreneur status at the UAntwerpen can follow the BRYO starter pathways free of charge. These starter pathways are: StandUp (for pre-starters) and StartUp (for starters).
