Research MA and PhD students and more advanced artists and researchers in the field of Arts, Performance, Media and Cultural History.
This course is conducted in English.
Required: Background (obtained BA) in the field of Arts, Performance, Media or Cultural History or the History of Science, Knowledge and Technology.
Campus
This summer school takes place at Stadscampus (Prinsstraat 13, 2000 Antwerp) of the University of Antwerp. This campus is located in the city centre.
Micro-credential and study credits (ECTS)
Successful completion of the summer school can be awarded with 6 credits according the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
A certificate will be awarded at the end of the programme. All certificates of completion are issued as a micro-credential.
Day to day programme
The 5-day programme consists of public keynote lectures, lectures by international and national experts in the field of cultural and performance studies and the histories of science, knowledge and media; artist talks and a series of interactive hands-on workshops providing a more practice-based approach to the subject.
The programme also includes 2 field trips and social and artistic evening activities.
