First three University of Antwerp students pay: €750; First three Roma Tre students pay: €750
The tuition fee includes access to the lessons, tutorship, workshops, a welcome reception, social activities organised by Antwerp Summer and Winter University during the week, and course materials. It will not include coffee breaks, lunches and cost of extra visits in Antwerp and Rome.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transport from and to Antwerp and Rome.
Disclaimer - cancellation
Cancellation by the organisation
Should the programme be cancelled by the organiser for organisational reasons or as a result of force majeure more than two weeks after the application deadline, the organiser will refund the tuition fee. However, claims for further losses or damages, including any other incurred costs, are excluded and will not be reimbursed.
Cancellation by the participant
If a participant decides to cancel their enrolment in the programme, they must notify the organiser in writing. The following cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellation more than six weeks before the programme’s start date: A 80% refund of the tuition fee will be issued.
- Cancellation between four and six weeks before the programme’s start date: A 50% refund of the tuition fee will be issued.
- Cancellation less than four weeks before the programme’s start date: No refund of the tuition fee will be issued.
The organiser will not be liable for any further claims, damages, or losses resulting from the participant's cancellation. We strongly encourage to secure travel insurance to protect against any potential losses resulting from cancellation.
For each type of cancellation, all refunds are made in euros. The organisation cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
Scholarships
Scholarships for Palestinian participants
- Three tuition fee waivers are available for accepted Palestinian students. Interested candidates can apply through the application form.
Scholarships for University of Antwerp students
Two types of scholarships are available for students who are currently enrolled as regular students of the University of Antwerp.
- Refund of €150/student after attending a summer or winter school organised at Antwerp Summer and Winter University. Students should prefinance the full tuition fee and can claim a reimbursement of the allowance after submitting a certificate of attendance and proof of payment to the Antwerp Summer and Winter University Office. The following students qualify for this refund: University of Antwerp students regularly enrolled under a diploma contract in a Bachelor, Master, Advanced Master, Preparatory Programme, Bridging Programme or Academic Teaching Programme, in academic year 2024-2025.
- Scholarship for a short international experience for students who qualify for financial aid by the Department of Social, Cultural and Studentaffairs (SCS).
