Your application for the summer school should be submitted before 14 March 2025. Applications are submitted and processed through the enrolment platform Mobility Online. There you will be asked to provide some personal information as well as your connection to the summer school, by describing some courses you followed, or the topic of your Master or PhD thesis.
Extra note: As part of the application process, applicants must have their professor send a reference letter from their department to the general email address: ncagsummerschool@uantwerpen.be. SLMath applicants are also required to apply via Mobility Online but are exempt from submitting a reference letter.
Non-EU-citizens are advised to apply on time because the visa-application can take up 3 months. They are evaluated by the academic committee and the programme coordinators. Applicants will be notified about the selection outcome within 2 weeks after the application deadline.
In case your application is accepted, you will receive further practical information on payment and visa. Note that your registration is only complete when the tuition fee is received on the university's bank account.
Accepted participants will be registered as regular students of the University of Antwerp and will hence receive a student account which gives them access to the catering facilities and the Wi-Fi network of the University of Antwerp. Furthermore, accepted participants will be automatically insured for third party liability and accidents during summer or winter school activities. Additional insurances (e.g. health and travel), as well as travel costs are the participant’s own responsibility.
