Dress code
The Pharma Logistics Winter University combines indoor lectures with a mix of professional networking moments and social activities. Alongside classroom sessions, there are formal events such as receptions (e.g., at the Belgian Residency in Abu Dhabi or partner hotels) and a gala dinner, as well as cultural and social outings like the Grand Mosque visit and a desert trip.
For the formal receptions and the gala dinner, we recommend dressing up in formal/business attire (think shirt and/or suit, blazer, dress, or equivalent). For lectures and daytime programme elements, smart casual is ideal. For the evening social activities, bring comfortable casual clothing that is warm enough for cooler evening temperatures (long pants and a sweater will do). Throughout the week, please also keep in mind the general dress-code etiquette in Abu Dhabi and Dubai: modest, neat clothing is appreciated, and for specific cultural visits (such as the mosque) more conservative coverage may be required.
Flights
Flights are not included, but several flight options are available to Abu Dhabi and Dubai (90min drive) via Etihad (Brussels), Emirates (Brussels, Amsterdam & Dusseldorf), Eurowings (Coln and Dusseldorf), KLM (Amsterdam) & Transavia (Amsterdam).
