The tuition fee includes course material, accommodation, coffee breaks, all meals on course days, social activities and a farewell dinner.
*we require at least a two year ESPID membership to offer this reduced fee

Disclaimer - Cancellation
Cancellation by the organisation
Should the summer school be cancelled by the organiser for organisational reasons or as a result of force majeure, the organiser will refund the registration fee. Claims for further liabilities or damages are excluded.
Cancellation by the participant
If a participant decides to cancel their enrolment in the summer or winter school, they must notify the organiser in writing. The following cancellation policy applies, unless otherwise mentioned on the website of the specific summer or winter school.
- Cancellation more than six weeks before the programme’s start date: 20% of the full tuition fee* will be retained as a cancellation cost.
- Cancellation between two and six weeks before the programme’s start date: 50% of the full tuition fee* will be retained as a cancellation cost.
- Cancellation less than two weeks before the programme’s start date: No refund will be issued.
*Cancellation costs are based on the full tuition fee before deduction of the €150 scholarship provided to regular University of Antwerp students. Other types of discounts, such as early bird reductions, are not affected by this policy.
The organiser will not be liable for any further claims, damages, or losses resulting from the participant's cancellation. We strongly encourage securing travel insurance to protect against potential losses resulting from cancellation.
All refunds are processed in euros. The organisation cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
Scholarships
Different kinds of scholarships are available. Read carefully the information below.
Scholarships for incoming students
Scholarships are available for bachelor and master students from WHO-Euro countries. To apply for a scholarship, you have to complete the specific bursary request in the registration form. Scholarships are awarded to a limited number of students according to gender, age and nationality.
ESPID-members (for at least 2 years) benefit from a reduced registration fee.

Scholarships for University of Antwerp students
Two types of scholarships are available for students who are currently enrolled as regular students of the University of Antwerp.
- A fee reduction of €150 is offered to support participation in a summer or winter school organised by Antwerp Summer and Winter University. The following students qualify for this discount: University of Antwerp students regularly enrolled under a diploma contract in a Bachelor, Master, Advanced Master, Preparatory Programme, Bridging Programme or Academic Teaching Programme, in either academic year 2024-2025 or 2025-2026.
- Scholarship for a short international experience for students who qualify for financial aid by the Department of Social, Cultural and Studentaffairs (SCS) (To be requested 3 months before the international activity)
