Visie
Het Centrum voor Sociaal Beleid Herman Deleeck (CSB) onderzoekt al meer dan 50 jaar de sociale ongelijkheid en het verdelingsvraagstuk in de welvaartsstaat. Ons onderzoek is empirisch en multidisciplinair van aard.
Herman Deleeck, die het Centrum in 1972 oprichtte, vervulde een voortrekkersrol bij de ontwikkeling van sociale indicatoren voor Vlaanderen en België.
De onderzoeksactiviteiten van het Centrum behoren tot de traditie van analyse van sociaal beleid waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van sociologische, economische en juridische paradigma's.
