I work with the biogeochemical cycles of carbon and nutrients in marine sediments, using tools like flux measurements (in situ and ex situ) and isotope tracers. As a FWO postdoctoral fellow, I study alkalinity-generating processes in sediments, their drivers and how they interact. I am part of the coastal ocean alkalinization team, see www.coastal-carbon.eu.
