- 2 or 3 courses to choose from the list 'In Depth studies' (12 or18 ECTS)
- 2 of 3 courses to choose from the list 'Master Seminars' (12 or18 ECTS).

Master Seminars
In the component In Depth Studies and Master Seminars students select courses for a total of 30 ECTS:
- 2 or 3 courses to choose from the list 'In Depth studies' (12 or18 ECTS)
- 2 of 3 courses to choose from the list 'Master Seminars' (12 or18 ECTS).
* Profiling space with permission of the Education Committee of Philosophy (request to the programme coordinators)
Instead of a second Master Seminar students can, for their specific research interest or for their master's thesis, opt for
1. a course of at least 6 ECTS-credits of a master programme philosophy at another University in Flanders
2. a course of at least 6 ECTS-credits of another master programme at the University of Antwerp.
3. an online YUFE-course (see YUFE catalogue: https://virtualcampus.yufe.eu/p/courses/category/academic-courses), with the permission of the academical curriculum advisors.
4. a credit of a summer school of another university (master degree , at least 6 ECTS-credits) which can also be regarded as an equivalence with a master seminar.
Cumulation with an equivalence for 'Filosofie en samenleving' or a master seminar due to an achieved credit of the Antwerp Summer School in Philosophy and Society is possible.
